British Award Winning Jewellery Designer, Amanda Hood, established her business in 1997 after graduating from the University of Derby.

Designs are exclusively made by Amanda in her Lincolnshire based studio workshop and shop where you are welcome to visit to purchase one of her existing collections or discuss having an individual piece made to your own special requirements.

Having a background in Jewellery Design and Manufacture as well as Product Design, has provided a strong foundation for implementing the aesthetics, functionality and wear-ability of each beautifully hand crafted piece. Her designs are fashioned using a range of modern and traditional techniques with precious metals and stones to produce unique and timeless pieces.

Amanda is a member of the Crafts Council and the British Jewellers Association.
Designs by Amanda are hallmarked and stamped with her individual jewellers mark (above left) through the Birmingham Assay Office.

National Recognition
Amanda exhibits and sells her work through a number of shops and galleries throughout the UK. Her love of design has been recognised nationally through winning The Platinum Design Innovation Awards for her 'Inspire Collection' and Short listed for Gift of the Year with her Fishbone Cufflinks Design. She has also been successful in winning the Lincolnshire Business and Shell Live Wire Award for the comprehensive, innovative and friendly service she provides in her business.

Royal Approval
The majority of her work is produced through commissions for Private and Commercial Individuals. One of her individual commission highlights was been asked to design and manufacture a special piece of Jewellery on behalf of The Princes Trust to be presented by Amanda to HRH Prince of Wales. She designed a Gold and Silver Tie Pin in the shape of a Three Dimensional Crown in her own unique style, incorporating the initials of the Trust. HRH Prince of Wales was delighted with the gift and wrote a personal letter of thanks shortly afterwards. (See Testimonials Page for copy)
